Whenever I view PDFs in browser I get a strange mis-alignment artifact while scrolling. I have not found a PDF with which it does not happen. It only appears after scrolling and disappears about two seconds after I finish scrolling. Essentially the left 1/6 of the page is offset down slightly making it difficult to scan through the PDF and read text.
I'm not sure how anyone else can reproduce this. It has always happened since I started using Opera but it does not happen in any of my other browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge). Following the posting guide on how to disable extensions and make a clean profile have no effect.
I am running Windows 10 on a Surface Pro 3. I'm not sure it matters but my default PDF viewer is Sumatra, which does not exhibit this problem.
I've uploaded an example of the glitch here: https://imgur.com/a/4mfag
Any suggestions on troubleshooting this issue would be much appreciated. I have thus far enjoyed Opera but this is driving me nuts and I'd rather not have to download all PDFs unless I have no other option to avoid this problem. Thank you.
