So I confirmed this happens in Opera, and not chrome, even after a reboot. For some reason, there seems to be some level of stutter, lag, where the previous picture keeps interceding with the last, happens on youtube, happens in HBO, netflix, and other sites. I'm sure this'll be fixed soon enough, but I had to post this just in case you're not aware. Happened only since today. for the meantime, I must watch videos on chrome.A

RE: The High CPU/RAM/ETC Usage TopicOpera for Windows
I started using opera for it's low CPU usage, but now (I think ever since they added this AI thingy) is now super high even with one or two tabs. I already "disabled" the AI prompts, (even though the process is still there and won't go away). I have no idea how to decrease it's usage further.
And yes, I know about GX, i use that one as well. But I still liked the old opera better when I could simply browse without my PC starting to make mild noise. And I would also rather not have to migrate everything once more.
I feel like this is one of those things when they make the platform worse without knowing it. But these things matter to folks. It's actually a big deal.

[Solved]Disable mute button on Opera tabs?Opera for Windows
Anyone know how to disable that exclusively annoying mute button on tabs? I can't find any answer that works. I saw a discussion on 2016, but there's no way they haven't fixed this since, right? I mean, I can Not think of any single time I have used that feature (mostly by accident) and wasn't annoyed by it.
Same way, I can Not think of a time I have actually wanted or needed to use that feature. Most computers or Keyboards have a mute/play button. But I only use it by accident when I'm trying to switch tabs, and instead of switching tabs, I mute them and the only way to unmute them is by Precisely clicking on the same button - Opera for Windows
