Is there any way to set speed dial items to open in a new tab or window instead of the same tab by default rather than Rt. clicking and selecting "open in a new tab/window"?

Can you set up folders in speed dial. there are many items I want at hand but not up front. It would be nice to be able to put stuff in folders by topic? Also can you set it so when you click on something on the speed dial it opens in a new window or browser tab?
