thanks, the extensions seem to do it different. Hopefully at some point the can add more features to right clicking on tabs. I'd love to see many of the previous features into this newer version.

moved to latest version, questionsOpera for Windows
Would anyone know if it was possible to click on a link and load it in the current tab? I know that clicking on a link holding down cntrl opens in the background which is great but it would be nice to have more features like the old Opera for tabs. These are features that Opera sucked me into and then they take them away from me.
Another thing I miss was I could right click on a page and allow cookies to only the sites I wanted and all other will be deleted when I close the browser. Is there an option for this or an extension. I couldn't find one.
Is there an option in Opera to warn before closing the browser? I did enjoy that in the event I forgot I was downloading a file.
thanks, so far the browser is pretty smooth which I love but I hope one day for those features in Opera that separated it from the other browsers. It is great you guys when to the new engine but please work to make yourself different from the others like the old days.
thanks for any help

RE: old 12 features compared to latest releaseOpera for Windows
thanks, I just recently over the last year started using it and I liked Opera's way much better for the tab stacking.
I only use basic parts I guess to the download manager. Curious how Opera 33 does the highlighted text different?I guess I can load it here and test it out at some point

old 12 features compared to latest releaseOpera for Windows
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what is missing from the latest release to the old 12 release. There are many things in the old 12 version that I have come to love and would hate to lose them. One the download manager and two the ability to highlight text and open it a new tab or current tab, etc. How the tabs stack. The overall feel of the old one compared to this latest one. thanks for any help

RE: The procedure entry point ucrtbase.abort could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-winOpera for Windows
maybe someone can help me figure out which software is the issue. I tried remove 2010 package for Office but that didn't seem to solve anything. I have many C++ redistribution packages 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012. I was going to uninstall all of these are reinstall them but there are too many. I wish I knew what Win update screwed my machine. thanks

RE: The procedure entry point ucrtbase.abort could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-winOpera for Windows
Windows 7 x64. I it happening on other apps now. I figure it is not an issue of Opera browser but odd that it's missing. Only thing I recently updated was Office 2016 preview through my MS account. Moved to x64 in Office as well. It worked fine that day but by the end of the day it started spitting up that error. thanks

The procedure entry point ucrtbase.abort could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-winOpera for Windows
I am receiving this error now when I open Opera The procedure entry point ucrtbase.abort could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll.
Not sure why it just started the other day and comes up when opening 3 times before I can get to the browser. Has anyone seen this? I'm on 12.17 build 1863
thanks
