Tab Stacking is an amazing feature please implement it in the new Opera. Vivaldi doesn't do it very well, not like Opera 12 did it - Smooth, clean and thumbnail previews. The reason I still have Opera 12 installed is because of tab stacking and Right Mouse button gestures. Hope to see these soon in the new Opera. Thanks.

Opera Developer refusing connection to virtual machineFuture releases
Hi. I run Windows 8.1 and an Ubuntu virtual machine for web development. I set up virtual hosts for each of my sites and that's all fine, but when I got to my VM IP address (http://192.168.56.101/) in Opera Developer I get this:
Connection refused: 192.168.56.101:80
In Opera 12 & Chrome it works and I get a webpage which displays the site directories - which is what I'm expecting.
Screenshot: http://dl.stereofx.net/screen.pngWhy is Opera Developer returning "connection refused" and how can I fix this?
Thank You. -

I am using a combination of Opera 12 and Opera Developer 29. Why am I still using Opera 12?

Dragonfly. It's dead but I still use it. Firefox developer edition has a nice looking inspector and but I am still in love with Dragonfly.

Right Mouse button functionality which allows me to scroll through my tabs without seeing a tab list. I tried the 2 addons which provide this functionality but they don't work too well for me.
I am really starting to enjoy the new Opera, great work, thank you.

RE: Opera blocking livereload.jsFuture releases
It seems like part of my post disappeared because it was a script tag.
** EDIT **
Livereload JS is stored on my ubuntu virtual machine and is called like this:
script src = http://192.168.56.101:35729/livereload.js?snipver=1
Error:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 502 (OK).
Connection refused: 192.168.56.101:35729
How can I fix this?
Thanks. -
Opera blocking livereload.jsFuture releases
Hi,
I use livereload.js for developement but it won't load in Opera Developer (I'm on the latest version). It loads fine in Opera 12 and Chrome. Livereload JS is stored on my ubuntu virtual machine and is called like this:<script src="http://192.168.56.101:35729/livereload.js?snipver=1"></script>
The error I get in the console is this:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 502 (OK)
If I go to the file url in my browser, I get this:
Connection refused: 192.168.56.101:35729
I've looked through all Opera developer settings and flags and I can't find anything to fix this.
Any idea's?
Thank You

RE: Ugly Bold font displays on Various webpages including facebook. Please help!Future releases
I finally found out what the problem was here so I thought I would post the solution in case anyone else comes across this situation.
Firstly, I noticed this problem happening on internet explorer 11 as well while I was testing a site I have been working on. It was the only other browser displaying this ugly bold font. I switched back to Opera to debug and noticed the font family specified in the CSS was Helvetica Nueue, Helvetica, Arial, Sans Serif.
Helvetica is not a windows font by default but I remember installing a Helvetica based font which I needed for a recent project so I checked my fonts folder and found the only Helvetica font I had installed was 'Helvetica Black'.
I uninstalled the font and boom, everything back to normal, thank goodness!
It seems like if a font family is specified which is not installed on the computer New Opera and IE will use the closest font within the specified family instead of going to the next best font specified like Arial or Sans Serif (Which is what I would expect it to do).
Hope that made sense.

I'm still having this problem, any suggestions?
I tried installing Opera Next stable version but the same thing happens.

RE: Opera developer 25, Features I'd like to see in futureFuture releases
I'm also hoping to see most of those features mentioned, especially Right Mouse Button functions (There is a plugin for this but it's buggy), and tab stacking.
One feature that hasn't been mentioned here however, is a new Dragonfly. I still use Opera 12.17 just for DragonFly and Right mouse button functions. Chrome Dev Tools are not as user friendly as Dragonfly.

Ugly Bold font displays on Various webpages including facebook. Please help!Future releases
Hi,
I have a bit of a dilemma here. I'm still using Opera 12.17 for certain things like Dragonfly, bookmarks etc, but Facebook and other sites are very slow on Opera 12.17, so I use Opera Developer 25 for Facebook and other sites. About 1 month ago, sometime when Opera 25 was released, the text on facebook has started displaying in an ugly bold font and I can't figure out why. The text is normal in Opera 12, so it's only happening in Opera 25. Does anyone else have this problem in Opera 25?
I'm using the same 2 browsers at work and it does not happen there. At first I thought it was adware or some sort of virus, but I've used a number of scanners and cleaned up as much as I can. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and made no difference.
I've gone deeper and debugged the stylesheet and if I turn off the font-family:helvetica style in Facebook's stylesheet then everything goes back to normal. I'll say again, this does not happen in Opera 12 or Chrome or any other browser.
