For months Opera is not the same -- It hangs on loading pages, it is unable to support javascript in other pages. I am using the latest version on Mac Monterey with Opera for apple chip. It hangs up sometimes 60 seconds to load a page while the browser is locked up. Why?

System:macOS Version 12.6 (Build 21G115) 12.6.0 arm64
Chromium version:116.0.5845.188

Opera was the fastest browser and still have the best and most useful features but I need help getting it to work for me. Javascript sites with buttons that now do not work on my opera.

Regardless of the version this has been happening for nearly a year. is it just the Mac Apple Arm version? Should I go back to emulation? I miss Opera.

I have a repeatable problem wherein on sites with text editors, such as WordPress, and at least one of the AI writing tools, the page freezes and remains locked up after highlighting a block of text for copying. The only solution is to delete the tab. The rest of the browser works as expected. I am increasingly experiencing this problem with WordPress.

I have gone through several updates in opera while the issue remains.

I am using a Macbook pro, non-intel ARM64 hardware. Today's version is 96.0.4693.50; however, I have had this issue since I switched to the ARM64 version. I love the browser, but this is an intolerable problem. I submitted a bug report but have info about whether it was even investigated. Is anyone in the forum having similar issues?
