This feature is incredibly addictive (and simple to use). Once you start using it you can't go back to the other browsers anymore.
You scroll through your open tabs by simply holding the right mouse button and scrolling the mouse wheel back and forth.
The old pre-Chromium Opera had it, and I don't get why it was never implemented back after all these years.
I use bookmarks to make my personal watchlists on sites like ebay, amazon and aliexpress. Recently, the bookmarks' thumbnails stopped to work. For a while it just took a long time to load the previews but now they don't show up altogether.
Edit: after further testing I noticed a strange behaviour: the first time you load the site the thumbnail may work, but for any subsequent page of that same site it doesn't.
Also, in some random sites the thumbnails just work as intended and they're even fast to load.
I'm using Opera One(versione: 101.0.4843.33) and I tried every step mentioned on the pinned post, including a completely fresh install with none of my settings/profile on it.
If I go to the page opera.com/connect, I get this message instead of the QR code:
"Install Opera
In order to synchronize your devices you need to install the latest version of Opera for computers."
Needless to say, Opera is installed, updated, and it's the default browser.
I also tried to reinstall Opera but the page keeps asking to install it.
I'm on Windows 10 Pro 64bit Version 21H2 Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0
Opera version: 92.0.4561.21
