Apologies, I realised my error and have copied the correct directories and everything is now as it should be.

I have tried that, and unfortunately do not get the hoped result.
My install directory is not the same as your example, but I modified as required to do the manual copy.

When I run Opera Mail after manually copying the files, I get the import window, it doesn't just start up in the inbox.
After import, I get an inbox with 5 e-mails and no labels.

I installed Opera mail on my laptop and it imported the 12.17 mail database, labels and all.
So I was happy and installed Opera mail on my main computer.
Sadly, the import process did not go so well and I can't get it to recognise the 12.17 database.

That is, when I click the top, import from Opera browser option, I get no mails or labels.

I've looked at the registry and can't see any spurious paths that might be confusing it.

Any ideas/help.
