@enzon19 I got the same problem since yesterday; I had to turn off Opera's dark mode so I could see whatapp and messenger too

@celadyn I totally agree with you! Sync still makes the browser crash!
It would be expected that this problem was solved by now!!! Opera's also my primary browser and wouldn't want to have to change because of this.
The Developers should really read our complaints

Since I turned it off, even Opera Sync is working without any problems.

I'm running Windows 7 SP1 64-bit on both my desktop and laptop with latest Opera 68.

To all of you having crashes and freezing sync, I think it is worth a try to disable hardware acceleration.

If it already is, good luck...

Tried that, and it worked. Also, I did what @cgigate said, leave for a while and it both imported my bookmarks and synced
I can use Opera again!

I had to format my HD and install everything all over again, now Opera simply crashes after a couple minutes of use. (Win7 x64 - same OS I had before)

The translator stopped working?!!! No matter what dictionary I use I only get the message "error status: 0"

I'm having the same problem with Opera lagging a lot, since 2 or 3 days ago. But in my case I really don't know why this is happening, I had no hardware alterations and the tabs I've got open are the same I usually have on Opera. Nothing different.

Still, Opera keeps lagging and sometimes freezing as you mentioned. I updated Opera today hoping the situation would be solved, but unfortunately it didn't.

All my other browsers are working without any issues.
