It was Opera Link that has been discontinued. The new Opera sync is supported by newer versions. At least on Android, as I'm not an Apple user.

If you are seeing ads despite adblock enabled, you might actually browser in the serverless mode. To my understanding there is a toggle somewhere that make browser skip Opera servers but then the ads aren't blocked either.

BTW, here you can pick various installation options for Mini, even with no signing certificate, if signed is a problem.

What Mini version do you use?

In the past I used to bookmark to a separate folder each address of a feed, I subscribed to. Such trick allowed my to get these URLs backed up when Mini synced my bookmarks, and I could import them easily on another phone as a bonus :-).

Now the older Mini versions synced to old Opera Link system that is now gone. But the newer version does work well with the new Opera sync, so that is still an option if you have a new version.

Well, you can switch the search engine, but not set the default, if that is what you mean.

@bosco2016, Such problems are often operator network related. It might depend what country, operator you are in. It's wise to include such info when reporting problems.

@leocg, @cinamullah sounds like some sort of automatic fast forward as in the old Opera desktops, but fully automatic

@jpk-974, It will be easier to Opera team to help you, if you can tell them which sites are slow for you.

Extreme disables a lot more scripts etc, why don't you login with extreme turned off and switch it on afterwards?

This won't work. The modes are separate, and to my understanding you cannot do so.

Are you talking Extreme or High mode?

By the way, what is your phone model and manufacturer?

@rakib2620, try to work around this by not updating with Google Play, download an apk from here and install it manually. You might need to enable temporarily "Unknown sources" setting.

@guyroberto, seems that the site has issues with Extreme mode then.

Deleting is also pretty straightforward - I would even say too much, since I occasionally deleted custom searches, just when you drop down the list of searches, swype the selected to be removed to the right, that will remove the search from the list.

Editing is not possible within Mini to my understanding. You need an Opera account and Opera desktop browser. While you have the desktop browser running, setup an Opera account. Select from File menu Synchronize. Register your account if have not got one already and login to it. Now pick your Mini and login there, too. Go to Settings and Synchronize or whatever it's called in your language. I'm having it translated here, so not sure how it is called in English or your language.

Now if you setup a search engine in the desktop browser, it shall be right away synchronized to your Mini and vice versa. Your Mini search engines will be copied to desktop browser on a computer, and you will be able to edit them in Settins > Browser > Manage search engines. Some of the default engines are not allowed to be changed sadly, but you may in example make a copy of Wikipedia in your language of choice and name it accordingly.

Same goes for bookmarks, speed dials, open tabs that are carried over from one device to another. Or actually from one Opera to another. Pretty neat. If you have a Mini and Mini beta on the same phone, they will copy also your setup to each of them, if you are logged to both of them.
