@wenno just go to settings / shortcuts and look for the F6 key. Disable the whole shortcut and you'll get rid of the problem.

RE: focus next pane shortcut (F6) crashes operaOpera for Windows
@seriousgigi I have the exacly same problem over the past 1-2 weeks. Both in Opera GX and in classic Opera, after mistakenly pressing F6 (I didn't even know there was a shortcut like that) it crashed the browser every single time. The last time it also removed all of my pinned tabs, and I was not able to get them back (normally opening last closed tabs recovered the old window with pinned ones)
I also disabled the shortcut in settings - but that's not a fix, that's just a way to avoid pressing a button by accident. Please do something about it.
The F6 shortcut is pretty useless (I guess 1% of users might use "focus next pane" but I doubt even that) but it's conveniently located next to F5 which a lot of people use.Having a crash instead of a refresh can cause all sorts of trouble, mostly when you are on an eshop, on a payment gate and stuff like that...
