Has anyone else noticed that scrolling in pages is more "sluggish" in Opera than in other chrome based browsers? I've looked for a "smooth scrolling" feature to try and turn it off (back in the day, that was often the culprit in browsers) but I don't see one.

I don't see the thumbs up and down on the news articles, and I don't see any thing asking me to agree to anything. Can you help me figure this out? I'd love to try out your recommendations!

RE: Flash Video Keeps Pausing ("Skipping") But NOT the AudioOpera for Mac
Actually I think perhaps this goes beyond Flash - I tried switching to HTML5 video and saw the same effect. I even tried it on just scrolling performance on a long page with lots of text. Even after going up and down the page a few time, to ensure it's in RAM memory, if I scrolled constantly, it paused about once every 20 seconds for just a couple seconds.
Is this an issue with Opera perhaps? I tried disabling almost all the plugins and brought the task manager up to see what I could observe. When the pause happens, the CPU for the Browser process seems to spike. Is Opera doing some kind of garbage collection in the background that is causing this skipping? (I even notice it as I type this long comment!)
Thanks!

Flash Video Keeps Pausing ("Skipping") But NOT the AudioOpera for Mac
Hi,
On all sites that use flash to play video, I have the issue that about once every 20 seconds, the video pauses for about 3-4 seconds. However, I know that it isn't really pausing, because the audio continues and when the video resumes, it is still in sync with the audio. I guess I would call it video "skipping" then.
Any ideas? Really frustrating.
Thanks,
Scott
