Your have to right click on the tap an select "mute tab". It was so much better just clicking the speaker.

Latest update 98.0.4759.15: Have to login to use Opera?Opera for Windows
This update is nothing but a problem. Now you have to log in to Opera to use it. Why? How do I revert back to the previous version and keep it there?

@ronnieb I removed the app and re-installed it but i'm unable to pin it to the menu bar. I haven't used it yet and I'll report when I do.

@leocg You're right I don't need to but when I signed into Opera to comment here it was like a new browser opened up with blank pages. Will everything change when I sign out? I really liked the way Opera was. I'm trying FireFox but it pales when compared.

@leocg Opera completely crashed when I tried recovering but the speaker mute is now working. Have to reset all my sidebars.

Thank you, that cleared it up. I had no idea it was on and didn't know where it was.

RE: Opera not playing well with Win10Opera for Windows
I have a plain vanilla Opera set up, no extension, ad-blocker is not on, I haven't changed any flags(don't know where they are), I haven't changed any settings and there is no profile directory. I've attached a screen shot of the directory listing where Opera says it's supposed to be.
