If you mean Netflix etc. Streaming is handled inside
opera and chrome with Widevine. In earlier versions this
was done by using a static version of libwidevinecdm.so inside the opera .deb file. Today this is handled dynamicly.
checking the opera binary :

opening that url opens a page, which next immediately started updating all kind of things :

This has become a serious problem for Opera, Chrome and Edge, Only Firefox works correctly. The newest Opera, Chrome and Edge seem to be unable to play embed video on the local webserver using the <video> HTML5 tag. I got the following log messasges :

Older versions of Opera have no problem with the <video> HTML5 tag. The last working opera is opera-stable_78.0.4093.184 From opera-stable_79.0.4143.22 and higher, up and until the latest, opera-stable_82.0.4227.43, above error message occurs, where the <video> embed looks like this :

• There is no sound running this verson on ubuntu 20.04 with opera-stable 89.0.4447.71
• obviously there is sound when running google-chrome-stable 103.0.5060.134-1 on ubuntu 20.04.

there is some weird stuff going on with [*.]google.com
Inside browser version Opera One(version: 107.0.5045.21)
sometimes trojan adds show up on major websites,
giving an error code that "The add can not be loaded'
and it displays an url 39ii2w-p.googlesyndication.com
is blocked.

[*.]googlesyndication.com is most probably a hackers
trojan to get your computer infected. Why would all of
a sudden googlesyndication.com not be covered by google.com ?
