This announcement is tagged Developer. It should be tagged Stable
Also (Comments to .36 are closed. Why.???
Please fix this problem in .36 as well.

On more careful checking I see that the link in the changelog is correct
BUT the announcement page has the wrong URL. viz. All that Stale instead of Stable typo error.
Please fix the blog page address for 104-0-4944-36 to be Stable and not Stale as here:
https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/2023/10/opera-104-0-4944-36-staBle-update/
Is this the stable update for desktop in Windows ?
If it is the stable update then there are two documentation errors.
Errors in documentation cause the update to be invisible - please fix this. see below
Errors:
Error 1: The update is still tagged as Developer - please fix that. It should be tagged as Stable
Error 2: The changelog has a link to the blog of the update. But there is a typo error in the link as here:
https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/2023/10/opera-104-0-4944-36-stale-update/
(viz. ...stale-update...)
The changelog link should read Stable and not Stale - as here:
https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/2023/10/opera-104-0-4944-36-staBle-update/
Please fix these two documentation errors soonest. Thx Raphael

Congrats for upgrading Chromium to an old version, now that a new one was released yesterday.
This release announces "This update is all about updating Chromium to version 118.0.5993.96. "
That is great But: The Chrome announcement says 118.0.5993.96 is for Mac! (Not Windows?)
Wil that Mac version work OK for Opera for Windows???
See the Chrome announcement at:
https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/2023/10/stable-channel-update-for-desktop_19.html
It says:
"Stable Channel Update for Desktop Thursday, October 19, 2023
The Stable channel has been updated to 118.0.5993.96 for Mac which will roll out over the coming days/weeks"
etc etc...

@raphaelbm: That being the case will you now amend the title to be:
"Opera 103.0.4928.26 Stable Update"
thx Raphael
@leocg I will encourage you to give way on this one and fix the release log as suggested.
This is not a major release. It is an update.
Please continue to show version numbers as before.
You have not announced a change of policy regarding blog posts. Others including me log these releases and dates.
Thx Raphael
This blog announcement "Opera 103 Stable Update" is missing the full version number. This a documentation bug I have highlighted before. The full version only becomes knowable once I go to the changelog. How perverse!
It is a regression.
Please revert to your usual convention with Stable Update announcements as in
"Opera 102.0.4880.78 Stable update" and previously.
Please fix asap. Thx Raphael

@xb70 Ways to download... There is a 3rd & 4th way I use FWIW
The 4th way is to just wait till Opera does auto update.
To download Opera: The 3rd way...
a. Click Menu...Help...About
b. Opera will tell you its up to date (A bug - reported many times)
c. Click Refresh and Opera downloads and installs the latest version complete with a restart request.
Tab never opens on startup.
My startup specifies a tab for Speed Dial and a tab for utube. viz: https://www.youtube.com
The tab for utube never loads. (I have reported this one before in 102)
At least I expect some sort of reply saying the bug exists. Maybe then it will get fixed. Maybe?
thx Raphael
ps. How do I put a picture in these comments?. I would love to show a screenshot of the problem.
I am delighted to see the announcement page shows the full version (and build number).
see https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/category/stable-2/#:~:text=Stable update
Stable
Opera 102.0.4880.33 Stable update
August 31st, 2023
I do hope this correction to the blog title can be maintained.
(Previous announcements have omitted the full version)
Raphael.
Start Page never starts.
I have 2 start page set to SpeedDial and Youtube. viz. chrome://startpageshared/ and https://www.youtube.com/
Note: The page address is HTTPS for sure.
When I start Opera then the YouTube page Never Loads. It just sits there waiting and waiting.
My workaraound is to simply Not have a start page.
Note:
This bug has been in a number of previous versions. I have reported this as a bug but no action yet. I am reporting it here again.
The announcements page at:
https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/category/stable-2/#:~:text=Stable update
Does not show the version number as in previous updates. Please fix this documentation bug.
Here are the previous v101 announcements further down the page: (why change now?. I'm sure this is unintentional and should be easily fixed.):
Stable
Opera 101.0.4843.58 Stable update
August 17th, 2023
Stable
Opera 101.0.4843.43 Stable update
August 9th, 2023
Stable
Opera 101.0.4843.33 Stable update

Thanks for looking, Raphael
The announcement of 102 at https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/category/stable-2/#:~:text=Stable update
shows:
Stable
Introducing Opera 102
August 23rd, 2023
However, the version is not shown. I have to go all the way to the changelog to discover the version is 102.0.4880.16
Please fix these announcements to mention the version at the same time as the announcement. You do this at Updates but not when announcing a new major level. Why do you do this? Stop it... Please be consistent.
This is a bug in the blog post. This is not a bug in the product.
Thx Raphael
@vegelund Thanks.
Yes it is fixed.
