@fitzydj: Thankyou for the installer link.
However, my purpose in making the report is to encourage Opera to fix the problem now and for the future. From the other comments I see this has been a disastrous release and I am inclined to wait till there is a revision. I wont be updating Opera any time soon.

btw. Does Opera dev team listen to this forum? If not ; why not. Thx Raphael

It looks like 141 was a still birth. Opera have released that dangerous version and are now covering up. No mention in the changelog - just silence.

Fortunately 120 is now announced and released. That will shut everyone up because you will be ignored here immediately.

When I look at the changelog I notice that the previous version has been announced a day LATER . How weird???

Where do you get this information from? Do say - or are you just surmising.
I have seen no evidence over the years that Opera ever make an official announcement. Does Opera even see these comments?

A new Opera 117.0.5408.35 Stable update arrived on my Windows 10 today.19Feb24

There is no mention whatsoever as to why the base version 117.0.5408.32 announced Feb 13 never made it out there, This is really bad that Opera yet again made no official comment. Users suspect that Opera is learning too many bad habits from Microsoft.

Running Windows 10. I too have not been able to install Opera 117 since the announcement 6 days ago on Feb 13th 2025.
