@fitzydj: @fitzydj: Thank you for the installer link. IT DOES NOT work...
Instead it merely installs the OLD Opera version 124.0.5705.65
I was expecting to find Stable 125.0.5729.12 – 2025-12-04 - duh!I am in UK Windows 10 Home (x64) Version 22H2 (build 19045.6575)

@fitzydj: Thankyou for the installer link.
However, my purpose in making the report is to encourage Opera to fix the problem now and for the future. From the other comments I see this has been a disastrous release and I am inclined to wait till there is a revision. I wont be updating Opera any time soon.btw. Does Opera dev team listen to this forum? If not ; why not. Thx Raphael

I have just been updated to Opera One(version: 119.0.5497.141)
However, there is No Announcement for it. What should I do now?
Is it safe to use? Is it normal for OPERA to update with no announcement here?More confusion. More uncertainty. More disruption. What gives?
RaphaelIt looks like 141 was a still birth. Opera have released that dangerous version and are now covering up. No mention in the changelog - just silence.
Fortunately 120 is now announced and released. That will shut everyone up because you will be ignored here immediately.

RE: Opera launches Opera One R2 – the best Opera Browser to dateBlogs
@HelloThere123 Hi. I admire your optimism. R2 was released a long time ago. I'll be interested to see how long you will wait to have your ideas adopted. Do write back when you see progress.
I will not be holding my breath. Raphael

RE: Opera 117Blogs
@suraj6public Hi, You said: "Who are you expecting an official statement from? Even they don’t seem to know what’s going on and are just making things up."
Where do you get this information from? Do say - or are you just surmising.
I have seen no evidence over the years that Opera ever make an official announcement. Does Opera even see these comments?Raphael (dissilusioned again)

RE: Opera 117Blogs
A new Opera 117.0.5408.35 Stable update arrived on my Windows 10 today.19Feb24
There is no mention whatsoever as to why the base version 117.0.5408.32 announced Feb 13 never made it out there, This is really bad that Opera yet again made no official comment. Users suspect that Opera is learning too many bad habits from Microsoft.

RE: Opera 117Blogs
@deathcat: You said: "This version has been withdrawn." re: (Opera 117 - 117.0.5408.32)
Is this an announcement from Opera or just your opinion?Running Windows 10. I too have not been able to install Opera 117 since the announcement 6 days ago on Feb 13th 2025.
thx Raphael
