This gives me only option to choose image from disk.
To change tile image I used previously heart icon and arrows to choose image from prepared by Opera propositions. But now this way does not save changes. I still see small icon inside big tile.

Actually it is the same problem. Icon is too small so I would like to change icon to page preview. But I still see this small icon.

Some additional issues:
Developer version is 28 and Stable is 27.
Yesterday this link http://www.opera.com/pl/computer/beta pointed to 27.0.1689.44. I've checked web installer, offline installer (where file name contains full version specyfication) and Opera/about checking version.
Today my opera is upgraded to 28.0.1750.15.
Besides I've checked stable version 27.0.1689.66. On both: dev and stable problem does not exists any more.
Actually I don't want. Regular Opera will replace my old 12.17.
BTW. Developer version older than stable? Funny. I wait for newer next version and check again.
According to this link http://www.opera.com/pl/computer/beta this is most recent version. Where I could get *.66 version?
My version is exactly 27.0.1689.44
Don't know what is last part responsible for. Language?
Opera crashes when I click "inspect element" with enabled option "Experimental address bar" (opera://flags)
Opera version: 27.
I'm still stick to Opera 12.16. But for test purposes I have installed Opera Next and saw Chrome in Opera skin. But why:
- I cannot customize keyboard shortcuts?
- I cannot open tabs just at very end on tabs?
- I cannot group tabs?
Why it is important to me? Because Opera 12 is loosing support (for example google docs are read only). I have to think about what will be my next browser. And if I can't see the difference between Opera and Chrome - I will choose Chrome.
