It is mentioned in the Reddit post that you can download the updated version and use all the disable updates instructions etc. But how can I really know that there is a newer version for Opera GX so that I can upgrade it on Windows 7? Since it is not mentioned in the setups' links that this is up-gradable for Windows 7 or can be installed for Windows 7.

@leocg But how did the 98 version work before on Windows 7? And and when I open Opera GX and use it for a while it the Opera icon at the top left gets red and it says "Get the latest security update". What do I do with that? Since the latest version is 95 for Windows 7, I can't get it.

@leocg Yes and before when I installed Opera GX not Opera its was working fine and the core version was something about (98.47 etc) and it was working fine but now it says i can't update Opera GX and I have to download the older version so rn i am using core version (95.0.4635.74) of Opera GX and I now also know that for normal Opera I also have to use the older version. I don't know why this is happening. Before the latest versions of both browsers worked fine, but now it says they are not compatible with Windows 7 and yes I am using Windows 7. Any fix? or I have to stick with the older versions of both browsers?

Hello everyone, for the past few weeks I have been trying to install Opera GX on my Windows laptop. Before it was installed and working fine but then I installed a new Windows and then the Opera GX setup isn't opening. I thought it is a problem with my laptop. I tried to install it on my brother's laptop but still he got the same problem. Anyone please help me fix this issue, I want to install Opera GX!

When I open Opera GX setup it doesn't give me any errors, instead it doesn't just open. In the task manager it shows that it is opened but it just doesn't show up or open. Anyone please please help me.
