This is speed dial in new Opera developer! I have also problem with rendering all other web pages. Opera Developer is unusable. And similar is also with Opera Stable. But not this much. For now I'm using other browers to surf until you fix problems... This is problem on Linux 22.04 Elementary OS...

RE: Opera 99 StableBlogs
On Elementary OS 7, Opera stable, Browser is crashing if I try to play any video on any page or if I open Youtube page. That was not the case in previous version. This is hell!

RE: Opera 89.0.4436.0 developer updateBlogs
I would like to see these 3 features in some next build:
- option to sync my speed dial with copy from my Sync (I want that Opera ask me if I want to populate speed dial from my account)
- option to Opera install my preferred apps on click from my Sync list
- option to Opera copy my preferred settings from Sync
That would be great if I reinstall OS or I change PC so transition would be painless
Also You need to fix playing videos in Linux because this is nightmare. Please see how Brave browser is fixed this problem with Widevine installation. Browser displays question if I want to install Widevine or something like that so I can watch videos and if I click Yes he is doing the rest. And after that everything is working like a charm.
Because of this problem I cant use Opera as my preferred browser on Elementary OS

RE: Opera 86 developerBlogs
@burnout426: this is so annoying... This should be fixed! I can't imagine that regular user will do all this checking and installing... I have few other Chromium based browsers and this problem is only with Opera browser. Other browsers are doing all that job automatically. Also I don't have glib 2.35 version... Snap version need 1 minute and 35 seconds to open. So snap version is not alternative for me.

Opera is crashing on youtube and IMDB on Elementary OS 6.1. Before this version there where no problems with crashing

RE: Opera 84.0.4302.0 developer updateBlogs
@burnout426: Thank you for help. Now it's working. But this is not solution. Normal person will not try all that. This must be fixed by Opera side. If other Chromium browsers are working out of box and Opera should be also. That is too much work for... anybody. If I where normal person I would switch browser because Opera is not working and that would be closed case.

RE: Opera 81.0.4196.0 developer updateBlogs
@l33t4opera: this is not helpful.
I'm getting message that I have newer ffmpeg package,
Repository is not working
And I don't have nothing on that location so I couldn't to do linking.All other browsers have normal video playback.
Only problem is with Opera .deb installed versions
Snap versions have problem with slow first opening on system reboot... -
RE: Opera 81.0.4196.0 developer updateBlogs
Video playback problem is still present on Linux. I use Elementary OS 6.
IMDb is displaying error. I don't have video playback problem on snap versions of Opera, but loading/opening snap version of Opera is so slow in comparison of deb installed version. -
RE: Opera 80.0.4157.0 developer updateBlogs

RE: Opera 76.0.4009.0 developer updateBlogs
@leocg But I don't use Chromium. Older versions of Opera I can install but newer I can't. And if I force install after some time system will uninstall it.

RE: Opera 76.0.4009.0 developer updateBlogs
I'm having problem with Opera Developer from few version ago, this also.
System is deleting Opera Developer because there is unmet dependacy:opera-developer depends on libxcomposite1 (>= 1:0.4.5); however:
Version of libxcomposite1:amd64 on system is 1:0.4.4-2.I'm using elementary OS 5.1.7 Hera; built on Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS;
What is changed in previous 3 or so builds so this is happening?
