Opera for MacOpera keeps slowing down after some time
I use MBP 13 inch 2019 2.8 GHz i7 and 16 GB RAM.
I use Opera 98.0.4759.15
I have been having challenges with my browser for the last month since I moved over to Opera 98. After a few minutes - usually about 8-10 minutes, the browser starts freezing and I cannot do any tasks without seeing teh spinning wheel of death.
I have tried the following:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling
- Clearing Cache and memory
- Removing all extensions.
- Turning off all features and just keeping the plain vanilla browser with no additional features.
I have been a user of Opera since 2004 on various machines and this is the first time I have had this issue.
I do not have challenge with other Chromium based browsers like Chrome or Edge.
Any pointers would be helpful
