I used Opera for decades, and when Opera Mail was split into a separate app, I stayed on 12.17 (which I am using right now to write this post), until I recently decided to update, because it kept crashing.
Today, Opera decided to update itself, without me having the option to postpone or deny this update (apparently this is now en vogue, just like with Win10). Not only did my SpeedDial Thumbnails disappear, along with the option to re-enable them in about:flags (I could have lived with that, albeit grudgingly), but as of now I can't use the search-shortcuts I used since this option was available.
Whoever decided to make Opera not start when the default_partner_content.json file was edited or renamed, is a fucking moron.
I uninstalled Opera and won't come back.
(I am aware that nobody cares which browser I use, but I had to vent a bit)
