Via Opera you can't, but if you have the stock browser of yor device enabled you can long-press the home screen, select to add a widget and select the Bookmark one. This will let you choose between the stock browser bookmarks to add a shortcut to the home screen.
If Opera is your default browser, opening the icon you just created will launch it in Opera.
