RE: [Solved] Passphrase ProblemOpera for Windows
@leocg I did it and change it with the first option and I let it to syncronize everything as you can see below.
Now am I gonna be able to see everything just by logging in to my Opera account after I reset my pc and reinstall the Opera?
Secondly, Is Opera Profile Directory "C/users/user/appdata/roaming/opera software" and what will I do after I copy it somewhere before I reset my computer?

@leocg How am I gonna do that? By clicking "reset passphrase"?
If I do that, what if I lose my passwords and bookmarks?

[Solved] Passphrase ProblemOpera for Windows
Hello. I will reset my computer and I don't wanna lose any data. So, I have to make sure that I will be able to have my data once I reinstall the Opera. In Opera Settings, second option is chosen which means I use a passphrase but somehow I don't know the passphrase. I want to learn my passphrase. Briefly, I wanna be able to see my Opera browser as the same as it was before I reset my computer when I log in to my account.

RE: Passwords don't syncOpera for Windows
@leocg I did but nothing happened. As a last solution I will try to launch Oper in the old computer by looking Microsoft forums about how to do it. Thank you.

RE: Passwords don't syncOpera for Windows
@leocg I reinstalled it before deleting. Since it is a new installing, my passwords were not there. I think the only way is to try to launch Opera or maybe try to see the "wand.dat" file.

RE: Passwords don't syncOpera for Windows
@leocg said in Passwords don't sync:
ou can also export your saved passwords. And then import them in the new installation
I don't know why but I can't open the browser. Probably that's because I restored the system. I just can see the files in the location I mentioned above. Is it okay if I copy all of them and paste the same location of the pc where the new installation is?

RE: Passwords don't syncOpera for Windows
@leocg forgive me, edit: I restored the system back to 2 days ago and now I can reach the Opera files that I deleted yesterday. I went to C:\Users\DELL\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable. Now, what should I do?

RE: Passwords don't syncOpera for Windows
@leocg Now I think I remember something. When I installed Opera to my repaired pc, I was so fast that I couldn't see the "password" option in the syncronization section. I mean password section were unchecked and "encrypted" was written on it. So, I guess it didn't syncronize my passwords. Keeping that in mind, is there any way for me to get passwords back?

RE: Passwords don't syncOpera for Windows
@leocg no, there's only two passwords listed there. Those passwords were in another installation. Let me tell you from the very beginning:
About a week ago, my computer broke down and I had to give it to the repair. In the mean time, I used another "backup" computer. I set up Opera in that pc and logged into my Opera account and syncronised my datas (all history, bookmarks, passwords etc.). Then my main pc were repaired and I uninstalled the Opera in "backup pc". As I've said my main pc were repaired and another Windows were set up (Windows 10 now, it was 8.1 before). I installed Opera and tried to log into my account. I managed to log in but I was not able to have the passwords. Then I reset my passphrase. Then nothing happened and I started this topic.

RE: Passwords don't syncOpera for Windows
@leocg Nothing. All bookmarks are available but history and passwords are not. There's only one password I can see, and that's auth.opera.com. My synchronized contents are here and it says there's only one password and says encrypted information.
