@oplover I assume you are clicking a bookmark from the bookmarks bar. If so, I agree with you.
One workaround is to simply hold down the Ctrl-key when clicking on a bookmark from the bookmarks bar to open the bookmark in a new tab.
Maybe a better workaround would be to press Ctrl-Shift-B to open a bookmarks tab and then pin that tab for easy access to bookmarks in that pinned tab. When one clicks on a bookmark from this pinned tab's contents now, the bookmark will automatically open in a new tab.
