Opera only brought over the renderer from Chromium, not the interface. Also, as far as I know V7 Bookmarks supports exporting nested bookmarks to HTML.

That doesn't make sense at all since it would be alot easier to customize Chromium to add Opera features like the speedial/tab thing/sync button, and Opera looks to be that way. The bookmarks file format is the same as Chrome's so I'm quite sure Opera could've used Chromium's export to html functionality if they wanted to. I could write a script to do it manually but its another hassle.

There used to be a link for the ppapi version of Adobe flash in the offline installer webpage but now there is only one link. You could give the plugin based link a try.

I just found out that bookmarks can't be exported to html and the only extension that does it can't handle nested bookmarks. Thats really bad considering Chromium has it, I don't know why Opera put in the extra effort to rip it out.

The poster probably meant changing the windows settings to change titlebar colors. Win10 doesn't have any way to change it in its pathetic settings however.

But what I want to know if theres any way to set the useragent manually for example opera:flags. Or if the only way is to modify it via an extension - is the only access to the useragent through the webrequest api?

I second the smooth scrolling request to be an option in the settings menu. I set the mouse wheel to scroll many lines at a time to go through large documents and without smooth scrolling its hard to gauge where I'm at. It was one of the first things which I was looking for when I tried the new Opera.

Browser extensions are installable addons for popular browsers like Chrome, Opera, Firefox. You can access it by clicking on get extensions from the menu. Theres also an extension to use the Chrome webstore.

Most extensions have access to all your web browsing data so install only the ones you trust to be safe. I don't install a bookmark extension for this reason.

Opera doesn't have a setting to delete history when you exit the browser so you have to delete the history manually under settings-privacy-clear browsing data and uncheck the autofill option. Set how long you want cookies to be saved under settings-privacy-cookies options.

But, I can't see where v30 has user enhancements compared to v12. Finding my bookmarks is terrible. I have to click thru various levels to get to my imported bookmarks. It just seems goofy to me. I want them on the side panel instantly available like before. And why did I lose the user data field in my bookmarks, where I could store extra data, like a password hint.

other enhancements from previous versions. The little 'tool' thingy on the far right only shows my open tabs, which i can see perfectly well just by looking at the tabs!!!.
As an old user, will never be thankful for this new and improved Opera. It really doesn't give me anything different than Chrome, So, why don't I just switch to Chrome. Hmmm...

I faced the same problems after trying the new chromium based opera.
You could move all the imported bookmarks up one or 2 levels into the "bookmarks bar" and access your bookmarks with 2 clicks from the opera drop down menu. Or move all the bookmarks into speeddial.
Or you could install an bookmark extension which will give you a drop down menu from a toolbar icon.

I would choose Chromium before Chrome because of the default opt-out policy of Chrome whenever they come up with something new that is invades peoples privacy.
