@leocg Then at least update the normal Opera's interface to the one from GX, which is more modern

Make it possible to remove this from the top bar
You can remove it on Edge.
The close button disappears from any tab if the sound starts playing. There's a need to change tabs every time that tab was active for it to appear back.
Allow from the settings to turn off-on reader mode and fast-tab-tooltip. -
RE: Opera unveils Opera One, an entirely redesigned browserBlogs
@joannaczajka Good to hear!
Please, also do not forget about Chromium updates since they also bring new stuff and security fixes. -

@leocg Evidently they will. The question is why doesn't all of them get it at the same time? After all, dev build should have the newest version of chromium before the rest of the builds. Though, it seems since recently it's the last in line

Starting from 4801 if multiple tabs are created, the browser starts lagging and after a while crashes.
Besides, in 4809 open a new tab button is far right to the end instead of close to the tab like it used to. -
RE: Opera updates with a redesigned History, new Themes, and an experimental featureBlogs
It's nice you've mentioned the video pop-out. Do you plan on adding back the timer at the bottom, like people were asking, like in the old version. Also, working out the transparency bug or feature that happens every time mouse is hovered over the pip?

RE: Opera 123 developerBlogs
@opera-qa-team: Well for starters I guess it would be really nice to get the speed dial treatment for the bookmarks in the bookmark window with the tiles being more rounded overall.
As for the "Add a bookmark" at least have the same look like the privacy protection or account pop up. Which look more modern and stylish as current "Add a bookmark" looks the same as it did 10 years ago, without inheriting the new aesthetics of the Opera One.
I sincerely believe that the UI designers at Opera could do way more than that, if they put their mind to it, as they've already done a great job on the browser or even the recently enhanced history page. I'm pretty sure the whole community would embrace it if those 2 got updated. -

@opera-qa-team: Do you guys plan to also redesign the bookmarks window (opened by ctrl + shift + b) and the pop up when a new bookmark is added?

For the love of God and all humanity turn off the vexing message every time the browser is started: "The extension upgrade requires additional permissions. Go to the extensions manager to accept the upgrade".

Chromium 137 is hitting stable next Wednesday. Do you plan to upgrade to it for the 121 release or to 135?

@leocg Chromium 125 present. Do you suggest they brought it back?

Bring back the dark mode flag where you can choose different inversion versions. This one looks very gaudy and is pointless. Chrome 125 has it and it works fine.

Again dev version is behind on chromium to beta, really? What is wrong with you guys?
Besides when clicking on a tab island with tabs hidden, sometimes it just opens and hides then afterwards so you have to click on it again. -
RE: Opera 100.0.4809.0 developer updateBlogs
@leocg Rather strange, coming from the fact that Google themselves announced WebGpu to be enabled by default. Anyway, thanks for checking out.

RE: Opera 100.0.4809.0 developer updateBlogs
@leocg: do you know why the WebGpu is disabled and its flag still states that it's unsafe? Chromium 113 came with the final (safe) version and enabled it by default.
