I agree! These same sites are being placed on my Speed Dial page too! I keep deleting them but they return. I want to control what websites I want to add, so stop adding random sites to my Speed Dial page, Opera!

RE: New Opera developer 52Future releases
I downloaded 52.0.2838.0 and have a couple of questions about existing issues...
-
Selecting weblink on a webpage does not open a new tab. Weblink opens in the existing tab. It is so inconvenient to use the back button to go to the first webpage.
-
When entering text in search field and suggestions are displayed, selecting a suggestion does not populate the search field.
-
VPN still not working correctly. Sometimes the VPN button randomly flashes between blue (connected) and orange (connecting) and causes issues with websites.
When will these issues be fixed? Thanks.

Out of Memory MessageFuture releases
Recently, I started to receive "out of memory" messages while using beta version 41.0.2349.0. Using Windows 7 Pro with 16G of memory, 1T hard drive. Sometimes only 1 website tab is open, no other programs are running and I still receive the "out of memory message." I do a retry to reload the webpage and still get the message. What might be causing this and how can it be fixed? Thank you.
Message: Either Opera ran out of memory or the process for the webpage was terminated for some other reason.
Try reloading the page or navigate to another page to continue. Reload this page.

RE: New Opera developer 53Future releases
OMG!!!! I fricking HATE the "news for you" on my speed dial page! Please remove it. It reminds me of a sleazy online tabloid. I already have news sources I use regularly and this mess certainly isn't going to be one of them. I don't even use MSN, Yahoo or other news sources like this because of very cluttered webpages.

RE: [BETA] Can't click on speed dial google search suggestionsFuture releases
I have this same issue and has been going on for a while. It worked for a short time and then reverted back to not accepting drop down suggestions in the search field. I have to type in all of the search query.

RE: Website Videos Don't PlayFuture releases
@zalex108 -- I began using Opera developer about a year ago because of the VPN feature. Until just recently, I didn't have any issues with VPN. Now that VPN is causing significant issues and might be disabled by Opera, I don't see the advantage of using Opera versus other browsers.

RE: Website Videos Don't PlayFuture releases
@zalex108 -- Unchecking the hardware acceleration worked for a short while, then the buffering started again. I turned off VPN with hardware acceleration still unchecked and now videos load fast and no buffering. This leads me to believe using VPN may also cause slow video load and buffering. My internet connection speed is 200mbps, so I know it's not a speed issue.

VPN Location Affecting LanguageFuture releases
I am using Opera dev 51.0.2809.0. The issue is happening on both my laptop using Windows 10 and desktop using Windows 7. When VPN is enabled and I go to YouTube, the language/text is Russian. I checked YT settings, which are still set to English and location set to United States. With VPN enabled, I changed virtual location to Americas, but still have Russian language. If VPN is disabled, YT defaults to English. How can this be corrected without disabling VPN for YT? Thanks.

RE: Website Videos Don't PlayFuture releases
I figured out how to stop YouTube and other videos from constantly buffering: Settings > Browser > System > uncheck Use Hardware acceleration when available. Doing this has significantly reduced video buffering. I know it wasn't checked before and perhaps with an update, it became enabled.
