@mahotilo I did a little digging into current android and I'm two versions behind and I'm not getting the new android ever again so I think the cause is lack of software capability. I think the best option is to upgrade to something a year old or newer and use that one.

Below is a picture of what my Google play says about opera and it's latest version. I'm stuck on the version listed above and while it works i would very much like to stay up to date with my Opera browser because I really enjoy it. I don't know what is wrong or what to do about it and was hoping someone could help.
