@leocg : Thanks, I am logged in to sync. But I just noticed now that all my bookmarks seem to be there. Syncing just added some old (synced, but recently deleted) bookmarks to the front of my bookmark bar. That's why I didn't see the ones that seemed to be lost.

today I re-activated synchronisation in Opera, and apparently it restored the last state of my bookmarks when I was looged in the last time, which means: I lost all bookmarks I added during the last months.
When I go to www.sync.opera.com I still see the right/latest bookmarks I had (before re-syncing). How can I import these bookmarks into Opera?
