@saomoon same issue here, but for me it happens all the time and on every video service, even in full screen. I identified it as the red outline you see go up to tabs and stuff but I have no idea how to remove it and it is really annoying.
If you found a way to make it go away, I'm interested!

@leocg that's what I did at first, but it gave me in inches for some reason and even as I kept going it kept giving me in inches.
It's not doing it again, but especially now I know this kind of bug can happen at any time, I just want a way to disable the damn thing.

I've been having so many issues with GX lately I'm strongly considering switching back to Chrome at this point…

@rutgerson big same here, especially since it seems to really not understand how things work. I keep getting suggested conversion from GBP to GBP, which is super useful /s but also it apparently does not understand when I ask for miles, giving me inches instead??

@leocg uh… when I type something in the search bar and press tab it sends me to the next suggestion down the list or option to the right (whether switch to tab on an opened tab or remove for suggestion otherwise)

@leocg you're saying I shouldn't have the option to only have tab? Note, I forgot to mention: I am on Mac.

After looking at the questions here a bit, what I understood is that you cannot change the shortcut letter for a search engine or remove the default search engines, which is really annoying.
However, I am having another issue. I have ticked the "tab" as a keyboard shortcut in the "Manage search engines and site search" section, instead of "space and tab", however I am still getting sent to yahoo if I start a search with "y" and then hit the space button which I do not want.

I'd like a way to prevent this (is it a known bug?)

I have been looking through the settings and have not found any way to stop this, nor have I found anyone talking about it but for a couple weeks not I've had the search bar do basic calculations for me when I really want to just let it go to google and show the result on the google calculator, so I'd like to disable that thing where the first suggestion is an already-made calulation that is copied to clipboard upon hitting enter!
