Please tell me that I'm a fool who just can't find years worth of saved bookmarks. Please tell me that there is a simple way to find them. Please tell me how.

Please do not tell me to get them from some place saved on line. I have not done that. I always have them locally.

Please do not tell me to do some kind of sychronization. I never have done that. Every time I'm tempted to do so, I think of all the things I do at home that I don't want to be made available to anyone who pics up my mobile device. I have always done my own migration after I find the folder the bookmards were saved in.

I confess, I have not yet searched to see if the upgrade to opera 30 deleted or left them intact. I remember something in the upgrade process that may have asked if I wanted to import, but that seemed to me to lead to duplicate entries.

I'm amazed at how Opera blew such a simple thing as automatically keeping book marks. Tell me I'm wrong about all this, and I will apologixe for being such a dunce.

Adding comment because I see no way to edit my entry above. I found my previous sessions. I suppose loading my favorite start page "about:blank" and going to saved sessions will be my new way of doing things.

I'm glad you did not take away that feature, but you now have it implemented in a way that I'm not too happy with. Just give me back the old text only menus PLEASE.

I want to separate my address box from my search box. How do I do that?

I have never liked the way other browsers do such "awsome"ly annoying merging of the two functions. I like my address box to be a place where I enter an address. I never, ever, ever, ever, want to have the browser to anything to change what I see in that box. I want to make my own changes/corrections. I do not want any search to be launched. I do not want any suggestions to be made other than a drop down (should I choose to enable the feature) with suggestions from my saved addresses or (definately ONLY should I choose to enable it. Think privacy on shared computers) suggestions from my recent history.

I have been an Opera user since about version 3 or lower number, I think in the neighborhood of 20 years. You are loosing me. You have almost lost me on the Android versions because of your taking away my reasons to use Opera. That my happen to the Windows version to. This is sad. I have long encouraged others to use Opera. I can no longer recommend it.

I use sessions A WHOLE LOT. After update to Opera 30 I have no clue how to save a session nor how to access my previously saved sessions, nor how to set the startup to offer me a chance to choose a session to start with.

The ease of using sessions is one of the things that has kept me using Opera. Has it been removed? Am I just to dumb to find it? Please help me with this.

I wonder what else that I loved about Opera has been taken away. I suspect they took away me ability to quickly change the images loading. I see they removed my icon at the bottom of the screen that let me quickly switch. Why, do they remove the things that make Opera my favorite browser? It looks like they don't want me to use Opera any more. I just noticed some other things that they reset. They reset my default of asking where to save a file. I was able to fix that. They changed some other settings on me. I had to go through all settings, including advanced, and change many settings back to my preference. I may have to start another thread to find out how to stop a file that is downloading, not pause, STOP. I'll try some more to figure it out before resorting to that.

This reminds me of when Fastmail dropped a major user interface on their users. There was nearly a revolt. I don't expect that to happen with this browser. I hope Opera listens and returns loved features.

Recent update took away my file menu, the one that has words instead of icons, the one that lets me directly click on the word that says what I want to do such as file/open, file/save etc.

You removed it in the past. I always figured out how to get it back. I can't fine it now.
Please help me. This is almost a deal breaker for me. This is one of the reasons I avoid some other browsers.
