@andrew84: In addition to this the back and forward icons also have the same state regardless of the tab's history.
The pop up that appears when you click the search bar will occasionally fail to render correctly:

The close and reload tabs mouse gestures are no longer working for me following this update. Is anyone else seeing the same?

@ralf-brinkmann Go to opera://system/, Expand all details and check the extension list. What version do you have for Aria?
This is my machine:
igpdmclhhlcpoindmhkhillbfhdgoegm : Aria : version 4_5_0_2

RE: Opera 113.0.5227.0 developer updateBlogs
@ralf-brinkmann How do you get updates to extensions at the moment?
Every Chromium browser is able to remotely update extensions, this is a completely separate process from the regular browser update.
If you didn't get an Aria extension update then the issue is with your setup

RE: Opera 113.0.5227.0 developer updateBlogs
@andrew84 The issue wasn't with the browser itself, it was with a built-in extension. Opera is able to update built-in extensions without updating the browser like with regular extensions

@hsikorski: Thanks for the quick fix! I can confirm that this is no longer happening

RE: Opera 113.0.5227.0 developer updateBlogs
@spike666 Cause seems to be the Aria Writing Mode Assistant extension (chrome-extension://igpdmclhhlcpoindmhkhillbfhdgoegm/). Does anyone know how to remove this?
-
RE: Opera 113.0.5227.0 developer updateBlogs
@spike666: I'm having the same issue. Seems to be a result of writing text in a textarea

RE: Opera 113.0.5227.0 developer updateBlogs
Ever since I updated to this version writing into a textarea (including this one) causes Opera to use a large amount of memory and CPU. To the point where my entire PC freezes. Is this related to Aria?

@koimark They should just let us name the tab islands.
Other browsers with the tab island concept as well as extensions allow you to give it a name. That's more than enough to turn tab islands into a true organisation tool

RE: Opera 113.0.5222.0 developer updateBlogs
@andrew84: I have this as well but it does have hover styling for me

RE: Opera unveils Opera One R2 in DeveloperBlogs
Literally all I want is for dragging tabs in and out of tab islands not to crash the browser. Does this release fix this?
-
RE: Opera 112.0.5193.0 developer updateBlogs
@nashuim: At least let us add an emoji for the whole island..

Manually open link in tab islandTab Islands, Tabs and Workspaces
Is it possible to open a link in a tab island when Auto Tab Islands are disabled?
I want a tab island to be automatically created like when
Automatically create tab islands
is enabled but only if I use a shortcut such as Control + Left Click -
RE: Opera 109 developerBlogs
@michaing: I think this is related to the search engine entries being missing that @ralf-brinkmann and I are facing. Seems like some settings no longer save correctly
-
RE: Opera 108.0.5063.0 developer updateBlogs
@ralf-brinkmann: Same here, all custom search engines are gone. Thankfully they don't seem to disappear if you add them again and restart Opera
