@ralf-brinkmann How do you get updates to extensions at the moment?

Every Chromium browser is able to remotely update extensions, this is a completely separate process from the regular browser update.

If you didn't get an Aria extension update then the issue is with your setup

@andrew84 The issue wasn't with the browser itself, it was with a built-in extension. Opera is able to update built-in extensions without updating the browser like with regular extensions

@spike666 Cause seems to be the Aria Writing Mode Assistant extension (chrome-extension://igpdmclhhlcpoindmhkhillbfhdgoegm/). Does anyone know how to remove this?

@spike666: I'm having the same issue. Seems to be a result of writing text in a textarea

Ever since I updated to this version writing into a textarea (including this one) causes Opera to use a large amount of memory and CPU. To the point where my entire PC freezes. Is this related to Aria?

@koimark They should just let us name the tab islands.

Other browsers with the tab island concept as well as extensions allow you to give it a name. That's more than enough to turn tab islands into a true organisation tool

@andrew84: I have this as well but it does have hover styling for me

Literally all I want is for dragging tabs in and out of tab islands not to crash the browser. Does this release fix this?

Is it possible to open a link in a tab island when Auto Tab Islands are disabled?

I want a tab island to be automatically created like when Automatically create tab islands is enabled but only if I use a shortcut such as Control + Left Click

@michaing: I think this is related to the search engine entries being missing that @ralf-brinkmann and I are facing. Seems like some settings no longer save correctly

@ralf-brinkmann: Same here, all custom search engines are gone. Thankfully they don't seem to disappear if you add them again and restart Opera
