Video stutters after rew/ffwd on YouTube

This happens on Mid 2015 MBP, only with hardware acceleration. On the very same machine HW accelerated Chrome doesn't have the issue. Disabling acceleration impact battery life quite seriously (not mentioning fan loudness). Could this be addressed please please please?
