RE: F5 and operaOpera for Windows
Bugger off then, i have no time for fools who think they actually been useful.
Less of the personal attacks and attitude. This is a user to user help forum, most people here don't get paid to offer their help and services, let alone take abuse from other members. Remember that.
And you remember that i do not force anyone to answer to me.
The thing was meant for whoever made opera (if they even lurk around these parts in the first place) so that they have something to look into.
It was not meant for some wanna-be helpers who have no idea what they even talking about. -
RE: F5 and operaOpera for Windows
First question - which version of Opera. This sounds like Opera 12.
No, i am using 26th.
I remember 12, most stable opera ever made unlike everything that came after.
And if i recall right it even used to support x64 systems... splendid days they were.If you were paying money to get help with this you might get away with the vulgarities and salty attitude. The people here are providing help to others for free and out of the kindness of their own hearts. Take that into account the next time you want help from someone. I'm not going to help you any further on this topic.

RE: F5 and operaOpera for Windows
Dude, did you even read what i wrote? i said i have no problems with IE, right?
It's like this: I have a flash web player for music right? when i load it with new tracks and delete old ones opera still continue to see old tracks in the playlist... that can only mean 1 thing.. cache that never gets updated.
To further confirm this i went ahead and deleted opera's cache, immediately after that opera saw the new tracks in the playlist.
Thing is.. i don't want to every time delete damn cache just to make opera update page status properly... for fks sake. -
RE: Flash freezes in operaOpera for Windows
Also sometimes youtube videos freeze this way as well but simply changing tabs un-freezes them.
Doesn't work with my player thou. -
Flash freezes in operaOpera for Windows
So, i have here this player of mine:
http://silkroad.3dn.ru/audio/flashplayer2/xspf_player.swf?playlist_url=http://silkroad.3dn.ru/audio/flashplayer2/playlist.xspf (copy and paste this manually it seems the forums can't comprende this link proper). And when it is run in opera it freezes, the controls become unresponsive, you can't change tracks either completely freezes till you refresh page and yet it continue to play music anyways even when mouse clicks are impossible and controls are frozen (weird huh), it began recently like 2-3 opera versions ago.
Suggestions?

RE: F5 and operaOpera for Windows
Apparently it doesn't work this way everywhere or i wouldn't have this annoying problem.
ctrl+R doesn't work and neither does ctrl+F5.
I need a damn working way to perform forced server check for new content...
Most hilarious thing that i don't have this problem with shitty IE, does that mean opera is worse than IE? i hope not lol. -
F5 and operaOpera for Windows
Simple question, how to make opera's f5 key to do server check to determine if the content on a site has been changed?
I can't seem to make her to re-new a page she keeps digging cache showing old content.. annoying.
Do i really need to clear the cache every time i want to properly refresh a page? really? i hope not.
