Thank you colderwinters, I will give those browsers a try since there's nothing else to do here. Glad you stumbled on this, otherwise useless, forum where nobody that counts is listening.

Thank you for UC Browser HD too - I long for a decent browser on my iPad where Chrome keeps crashing (maybe it's company policy and Opera Mini is nothing but a backward joke on a modern mobile platform.

Finally a really useful and informative comment in a long time... not.

Wonder what part of that recent 1.23% from 3% user base is so hard to grasp.

From what I'm reading here and on http://blogs.opera.com/desktop/ seems like Opera is a lost cause.

Maybe we should stop wasting our time with these guys if all they want to hear is themselves. Seems like they really love their new 1.23% market share while advising their shrinking user-base to be patient (and dumb) or get lost. Way to go!

Leushino, dear, get a life. After all there's nothing more you say on every thread beside - opera 12 is dead, you can go elsewhere.

If there's all that Opera has to offer then I'm moving on. I hope you're smart enough to do the same. Cheers!

Maybe if the old Opera is so useless they will release it's code to the Open Source Community so they could improve it beyond any corporate interest.

For me it's obvious - the Opera 20 design team had become the kind that could only hear themselves talk and the others praise some new nothings.

Opera was on the wrong path since some time so maybe it's time to just let it go and "grow-up" as some avangardist here was suggesting.

The reason why some people would defend the new Chromepera is completely beyond my dumbed-down mind at this moment. That is beside the gold bars, energy bars, iron-rich cereals or whatever.

Maybe I should adapt to amoeba status again. After all, the overall trend is simplicity now. Sorry to miss the boat but I'm kind of slow since I'm "adapting" to a mainstream browser.

Interesting how we can put up with all kinds of "minimalist" trends that makes our browsers almost unusable for serious research but we can't digest the Metro UI.

This kind of change for the sake of change and not for the better is completely mind boggling to me and some people that are really trying to accomplish some work with their PC's and browsers.

That's somehow admitting that Chrome is a better browser - why are we still using Opera if there's no more features that made it a great browser (Tab & Browsing Session Management, a fast engine, capable of some serious research/browsing with tens of tabs)?

I wonder if these new versions of Opera have any kind of customer input behind them. To me it looks like they're based on some sort of "we know better" kind of design...

Maybe it's time to start looking for a browser that could listen along with setting new trends.

The last Opera was a shock - I agree with the users saying that we needed Opera to be a browser we can also work with... It gives a clear picture of how much the design team care about their users.

If we would need a dumb browser like IE then why in the world we should install another dumbed-down Opera 20?!
