RE: Opera 115Blogs
Three major versions now and "Allow access to search page results" is still broken for extensions. How can such a major regression even get through nevermind not be fixed for months?!

Good job and congrats! But AI stuff can definitely be even better integrated IMO.

RE: Opera 114.0.5282.154 Stable updateBlogs
@daria19: I do disable it. But it can be useful so I want to use it. But I don't want it popping up all the time.

RE: Opera 114.0.5282.154 Stable updateBlogs
Can we get more control over text highlight pop-up? E.g. only show the pop-up when using a shortcut for it. Same goes for Aria. Why can't I prompt when highlighting a text and using a shortcut to translate etc.?

@sicu220: That icon has been bugged since it's been introduced. The avatar doesn't show with multiple windows either.

@andrew84: Yes, looks like Edge is the same as Opera. I didn't even bother checking that one. How do you turn it off in Edge?

RE: Opera launches Opera One R2 – the best Opera Browser to dateBlogs
@daria19: I understand that this is intended. But it breaks immersion when using the browser and even in full screen the border is larger than other browsers. It's also taking up a significant amount of space when you have multiple windows opened side by side. I believe this was introduced with Opera 100. Before 100 it was significantly smaller.

RE: Opera launches Opera One R2 – the best Opera Browser to dateBlogs
@andrew84: That's because you are in full screen. But even in full screen it's still larger than any other browser. It becomes huge when you have multiple windows opened on a single screen and Opera isn't expanded to full screen.

@daria19
Opera is the only browser that has this gigantic frame around the page content.
Here's how it looks in firefox:
It's a tiny black line you can barely see it. Same with Chrome, Vivaldi, etc. -
RE: Opera launches Opera One R2 – the best Opera Browser to dateBlogs
Can we please do something about the borders:
Why is it so huge?

@burnout426 I doubt this has anything to do with Opera specifically. Pretty confident this is a Chromium issue that has been there for a while. Just tried again:
As you can see the whole browser is white with OpenGL. -
RE: Opera launches Opera One R2 – the best Opera Browser to dateBlogs
@burnout426: Yes, OpenGL fixes the blinking. But these themes don't work at all with OpenGL. Everything is just white.
-
RE: Opera launches Opera One R2 – the best Opera Browser to dateBlogs
@burnout426: I get a blinking screen sometimes and then the whole browser just turns white until I completely restart it. Happens on RTX 3080 and on a laptop without a dedicated GPU. Unfortunately, not exactly usable themes.

RE: Opera launches Opera One R2 – the best Opera Browser to dateBlogs
@burnout426: Ok, nevermind. It's because I disabled hw acceleration since I keep getting blinking black screens all the time.

RE: Opera launches Opera One R2 – the best Opera Browser to dateBlogs
@burnout426 Here's what I see:
I installed the preview versions and I had Aurora and Midsommar before. But not in this release.

@max1c: Video pop-out doesn't work for me either which is pretty annoying.

I'm confused by this release. It seems to suggest that dynamic themes are now available. However, after updating I can only select Classic themes and have Coming Soon for the rest.
