I had this same issue, and finally found a resolution.
download this pdf viewer from opera, and without restarting opera, the pdfs started loading.

not sure about print issues b/c i haven't tried that.
Do more on the web, with a fast and secure browser!
Download Opera browser with:

- free VPN
