It seems that suggested sites shown in home are just the recently used/closed. Most used sites are not captured like Firefox.
Hope that suggested sites to be based on user deep history so when I use a site for many times, it should be shown as suggestion.
User should have the right to dismiss it from suggestions list so it's not shown again for some time.

@leocg if page was visited 3 days ago & available in history, it's not shown on typing the url.

Example:
Let's assume that I visited this URL 3 days ago
https://forums.opera.com/topic/44828/browsing-history-is-not-saved

When I type forums.opera.com/topic/ nothing is coming.
I'm expecting to see address to be autocompleted.

Attached image shows how it works for recent visited pages in past day but not working for older URLs than 2 days even if pages are history

but on writing any of the links in the address bar or the page name.

Browser can't remember browsing history.
Previously visited sites are not shown while typing the URL unless it's recently visited (could be a day).
