RE: Backward and forward buttons on Logitech Mouse not working with OperaOpera for Mac
I am using the MX Master (P/N 810-005438) with Logitech Options 7.12.82 on macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, Opera is version 60.0.3255.109
I can confirm, this is working and indeed a valid workaround.
Keep in mind: To allow all other programs to work correctly, for example an IDE, create a config for Opera only (top right where it says "all applications"):
Then assign the buttons:
Sorry for the german screenshots.

RE: Backward and forward buttons on Logitech Mouse not working with OperaOpera for Mac
btw. the bug seems to be some cursor window focus recognition, since the buttons are working while having the mouse on the border of window (where the mouse cursor switches to the resize cursor).
Using macos high sierra.

RE: Backward and forward buttons on Logitech Mouse not working with OperaOpera for Mac
The focus thing is a bug and should be fixed. Nothing to discuss about it as long as there are no news.
@Luobin I'm using SizeUp on MacOS Mojave (10.14.6) and it works fine with multiple Opera Windows (63.0.3368.107). But yes, using another application should not be the solution.
By the way: The bug is still not fixed as of update 64.0.3417.47

RE: Add Signal to the sidebarSuggestions and feature requests
Chrome apps where not the same as web apps. There is no Signal webapp, though which means Opera can not display it.
Unlike community member statements on the internet, this would be technically possible even without storing messages on signal server side as well as with encryption but in my opinion the main reason is development effort and the costs coming with it. Also Opera won't take over the development costs, since it's not their product.
If Signal ever decides to make a web app, Opera can think about including it in the sidebar. But for now - not even custom plugins can fill a void.
There is a desktop app. You might want to give it a try: https://signal.org/de/download/

RE: My flow "failed to connect"Opera Touch
@chubners ufff... this might sound harsh, but I don't see the flow as a storage of important information.
It totally feels as something which allows you to temporarily transfer stuff from one device to another. Maybe it's just me who feels that way because I'm a web developer. I also remove all messages from the flow regularly to keep it clean.
I know you where not expecting to loose this information and this sucks. Seeing this service as a save place to store important things was a little naive, though
Another thing: When you deleted your flow, didn't you see the message which states that everything will be gone?@SonicWeaver Step by Step? There is only one way. Also on the mobile phone, it's easy to find at "My Flow" -> Burger Menu on top right -> Settings -> Delete My Flow

RE: Backward and forward buttons on Logitech Mouse not working with OperaOpera for Mac
I, too upgraded to macOS Catalina 10.15.2.
I removed the application specific settings in Logitech Options application which did not change the behaviour, aka it's working without the workaround.Accessibility is ON for

@zarespx You are on mobile, did you try removing them in the Desktop version as @lifefeast suggested?

RE: My flow "failed to connect"Opera Touch
@zarespx Somehow it got fixed for me. Unfortunately I forgot how I fixed it, but - as far as I can remember - I logged out & in of everything, re-installed the android app and it worked.
Opera Touch 1.21.1 on Oxygen OS 9.5.11GM21BA @ Android 9

RE: Backward and forward buttons on Logitech Mouse not working with OperaOpera for Mac
@tcar984 said in Backward and forward buttons on Logitech Mouse not working with Opera:
Keystroke mapping workaround no longer works. I'm on Opera 60.0.3255.170, macOS Mojave 10.14.5 and using Logitech MX Vertical. This bug really needs to be fixed by Opera devs.
Can't confirm on MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 - it's still working. But YouTube does something strange: At Channel landing page, Command+Left /+Right are used to switch the focus of the tabs "Overview" - "Videos" - "Playlists" etc. So if the Webpage is listening to the keystrokes, they don't work in the browser window (except you pull focus off of it).
