Well, even Opera Portable from PortableApps creates and doesn't delete those files I've mentioned above, however it writes them in a OperaPortable folder inside Windows TEMP folders. It should be enough not to interfere with Opera Desktop.
Better than nothing.

O.O Didn't know that, despite I've use USB versions from both, Opera and PortableApps and had no problems but didn't check traces on the computers since every file should be deleted from them, at least in every PortableApp.

As far as I know it doesn't work for plug-ins and that's why plugi-ns are set to 'click to play' when you enable VPN.

Indeed, flash content is not counted in VPN quota, while HTML5 videos are.

So, I've uninstalled Flash and so far so good. 🙂

And why the DNS server is located in the USA even if the VPN server is in Europe?

Probably they don't have one on that location?

Well, maybe they will add one in the future.

I've used the workaround and it seems working for HTML messages too.

In addition to this, I've unchecked the "fit to width" option, just to be sure.

I've checked and Opera Turbo is NOT activated.

Currently, af.opera.com isn't contacted any longer. If it's the compression server for Opera Turbo, I'll monitor the connections because I really don't want such service, especially in private mode.

I've seen that the filter is now English + my own native language on default, a better option that lists a really wider range of extensions.
