Yes I realize Opera 12 is not being developed further but until Opera 18 has most of the functions I love about Opera 12 I'm sticking with the latter.

I'll try Opera 12.14 and hope I won't be affected by the security issues mentioned. Thanks for the help guys!

Hey! I'm using Opera 12.16 and I have the weirdest problem ever since I bought a new, 64 bit based computer. I will divide the problem in two sections based on the option of installing the 32 bit or 64 bit version of Opera 12.16 so it's easier do follow.

IF 64 BIT VERSION IS INTALLED:
A lot of pages don't load completely (for example, twitch.tv's channel directory) and some just crash the browser (facebook pictures when opened outside of the "theater" option). I've tried reinstalling both the browser and flash but it didn't correct the issue.

IF 32 BIT VERSION IS INSTALLED:
Windows doesn't recognize it as a browser. Heck, it doesn't even seem to understand it's a program. I can't open links from other applications directly in Opera 12.16 because the computer doesn't even find the thing so I have to copy paste anything people send in my email or Skype. When prompted with the option to choose a browser I'm only given Internet Explorer and "Look around the shop", no Opera.

In short, Opera 12.16 64 bit version doesn't work properly but the 32 bit isn't recognized by the computer so I can't define it as the preset browser. Is there a solution to this?
