@leocg Imagine if apple had to add in custom controls and functions for every app that had annoying quirks... It just isn't very practical. It makes more sense for devs to implement changes to their own software based on user feedback - And users have been asking for this one from Opera for 10+ years

@SiMcarD78 it causes an issue that causes macOs to continuously switch from any other app to Opera every time a download completes, which means you're constantly interrupted in the middle of whatever you're doing.

All many users have wanted for about 10 years is the ability to turn off download notifications. Can you get that done for us, Please?

This issue has been going on for almost 10 years! Please add in the function to disable the download complete pop-ups! When downloading in bulk it makes computers near unusable because every single time a download completes the computer (MacOS) automatically activates the browser window, stopping you from doing whatever you are doing including, typing, browsing, etc and focuses on the opera browser window!

I am literally having to use a separate laptop just to send this as every minute a new file downloads, it switches to the notification pop-up and i have to click back in to the text window to continue typing!

We're not asking for much, not more Ai, no advanced graphics, not more apps and extensions, just the ability to turn off notifications, please for the love of your user base, get it implemented!
