Sorry for double posting but just find a workaround.
You let the sound from the video on the page, you mute the tab from the tab itself in Opera.
It's muted but keeps on playing the video. -

Hi,
For information. Got the same problem from today. Seems to be a new way to deal with muted/out focus tabs. When I mute a video and go to another tab, the video stops. When I unmute it, it's playing when I go to another tab.
Can't find a way to stop that for the moment.
