After reading the comments here, I digged deeper and found the problem. Somehow, HTTPS everywhere is the culptrit. That extension cause no problem on FF or chrome, but it is the cause of the problem in opera.

Thanks for the replies. I thought I had already done a test with all the extensions disabled, but I must have missed HTTPS everywhere.

Arrow keys are working ok for me in spreadsheets (eg: navigating between cells). Opera 23 on Win 8.1 x64.
