Hello,
it is really hard to grab a tab with the mute symbol, when sound is being played. I'd rather have it removed and get a hotkey for muting, as it also is very painful if loud music suddenly is turned off.
Thanks,
Kim

Hey,
I really loved the old UI of Opera, now you can't even see if the back button is greyed out or not. Also Ctrl+F on the start page is gone for whatever f'ing reason. Is it safe to downgrade? Are there security risks? If yes, how do I fix the aforementioned problems?
Thanks,
Kim
PS: How do I make Ctrl + F always open a new page? I hate it when it jumps back somewhere, especially, when I have 3000+ tabs open...
Okay, anywas, I havwe switched to FF now, after 2 years of Opera! The new update was just atrocious!
No! What did I tell you? The new Opera is HORRIBLE!!! I need to downgrade immediately!!! Smooth scrolling is never responsive! Also what happened to this UI, why does everything have to look like Win8 now?
Okay, so this would be something obscure and innovative, but it would help out productivity a lot.
So what I'd want is being able to type while the website is loading and you have a white screen and then inputting that into the first focused textbox. For example when loading Youtube.com (which takes some time for me) you could already type your query and hit enter before the website has loaded. When it does load, Opera would detect that the first focused item is a textbox (which probably even has id or class of "search" or something like that). It then would immediately past the query into that textbox and if you hit enter, it would do the same.
What do you think about this? Have I explained it well enough?
Regards,
Kim

I don't mean the smooth scrolling like in firefox, that is horrible and unresponive, what I mean is that imgur just freezes for a half a second a couple of times when I scroll.
Sorry, wrong post. Why can't you delete comments here?

Hello,
recently I enabled the function, that tabs stay open after closing Opera, so I typically have a couple thousand tabs open at once and they become really small, so it is hard to get back to an open tab. I recently discovered that downwards-pointing arrow next to the new tab symbol which shows a list of open tabs. It is still very hard to find what you are looking for, so I would like a search bar there. Please do NOT implement that search into the main search bar, because that is why I don't use firefox. When I use the main search bar, I want to open a new tab, not switch to an existing one.
Thanks,
Kim
Hello,
I was always happy with Opera, until recently I tried this website http://counter-strike.net/reintroducing_nuke (I know it's a very specific example, but even in the Steam in-game browser it is smooth!). On the screenshots you can move a bar to see before and after. And that should be butter smooth, but it's not at all. Also on some Imgur image albums I cannot scroll smoothly. Why is that?
I had 2000 (also how can I count tabs? That is an estimate, but it was far over 1K) tabs open yesterday, but I closed all of them and started a new window, to see if it would help, but the problem remained.
