update:

• Now it's crashing every 10 minutes trying to stream something. Randomly comes up with the error "this site can't be reached" message.

There's an extension that will do that for you. Just exports as a .txt doc or something and then you import into Chrome.

To recap:

• Barely plays videos
• Barely works with facebook
• Barely streams audio

mp3s not working on this site either (bleep.com)....Any help because this browser has gone from being really good and my first choice to practically unusable?!

Basically nothing works.

When scrolling on Facebook the page always freezes, and then clicking on any different tab has blanked the page out and basically makes Opera unusable for about 30 seconds. The same happens when I play a video that is "unsupported" or starts to load but won't play...Why are so many videos unplayable?? Finally, since the latest update, certain other media formats won't play (www.juno.co.uk)

Anyone any ideas what's going on and if this is fixable?

Did the above suggestion and it seemed to work for about 10 minutes. Now it's back to having a meltdown on most videos I play, won't play mp3 streams, freezes all the time on facebook. What is going on?? Opera used to be better than Chrome etc in my opinion but it's falling apart. Will give it a month, but if the issues aren't fixed, got to commit to something else because it is pretty impractical having to use different browsers just to play media because Opera can't
