What is your workstation configuration (hardware and OS version)?

Is it o'k in other browsers? First time using Opera? Customised your install?

No problems with other browsers. Have been using Opera for about 3 weeks. No problems on De3sktop. Have following extensions: Adblock Plus; Weather (from Weather Channel); Lastpass; translation app.

What is your "surveilance" configuration - meaning your AV and other hardwired programs allowed to mess with your system?

Bitdefender Total Security 2016 (also same on desktop with no problems)

Have you installed anything recently? Any piece of software? updates?

Normal Windows 10 updates (same as desktop)

Using hardware acceleration?

In the browser settings, Hardware acceleration is checked (enabled) in both the browser and laptop -- no problems with Opera in the desktop, only have the stated problem on the laptop.

I have the latest Version of Opera. 36.0.2130.74; When I open Opera, things work good. At random times my screen will go blank. It will then go black as if the monitor shuts down. This happens on my laptop only which has Nvidia 9700M GTS. Never happens any other time, only when using Opera. Again, no one thing can be targeted, just happens randomly.
