Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. I guess GNOME/factory desktop

I have attached examples of the parts with empty space that I sometimes accidentally click on.

I've been having trouble figuring out why the browser minimizes when clicking empty space. If I miss an icon or button and click the empty space between or where there is no icon, the browser minimizes or tries to go into split screen mode.

This doesn't happen for other browsers. Is there a setting to turn off?
