Speed dial can basically do this, but I'd prefer to toggle the bookmarks toolbar instead. I think that's better. Plus it would work with my Firefox bookmarks I just imported. Don't want to have to reconfigure all of that into Speed Dial.

I have this problem too. This is the only reason I switched to Opera. But with this gone, I think I'm going to switch back to Chrome. Sorry Opera
FYI, I did not install any extensions. The button just disappeared recently.
