on chrome/chromium/srware iron and other chromium based browsers there are flags used to force enable Hardware Accellerated Video decoding on linux, but on opera there is not, for some reason some flags are taken out of opera
is there any other way like a command line option to force enable hardware accelleration on linux?KDE

using ubuntu 16.04 on a dell XPS 13 9360 in case it's relevant, but it's also an issue on my lenovo y510p running linux mint 18 KDE.
not being able to enable hardware accelleration for video decoding basically removes all the advantage in battery life i got from the power-saving mode in opera.
