@jensdoe solved, case closed. It's popping up, changing from landscape to portrait mode. Though I see, that this is useful in portrait mode, I can't see, why this isn't something I can have in landscape mode on big screen.

Selecting the tab-overview (or whatever this is called), on my smartphone I can see all the tabs in a row and swipe left/right to select a tab. Below is a very nice overview of all tabs as really small icons. With this icons, selecting a tab is blazing fast. On my tablet this neat overview is missing. Is there a setting to turn that on/off? And if, how is it called?
